This repository contains:

  • The current Ethereum proof-of-stake specifications. Discussions about design rationale and proposed changes can be brought up and discussed as issues. Solidified, agreed-upon changes to the specifications can be made through pull requests.
  • The specifications related to the Ethereum execution client, specifically the pyspec and specifications for network upgrades. The JSON-RPC API specification can be found in a separate repository.
  • Geas implementations of Ethereum's system contracts, such as the ones associated with EIP-7002 and EIP-7251.
Important

Pectra is a unique competition spanning multiple codebases in the Ethereum ecosystem. To better manage the event format, it has been divided into several repositories ("competitions"). All competitions share a single $2M prize pool.

The teams behind each participating project will be actively fixing and updating repositories in real time. Please refer to the repositories on GitHub for the latest versions.
