I'm a technology executive with a background in software development and IT specializing in security, cloud and blockchain. My experience spans 25 years from Fortune 500 (Credit Suisse, JP Morgan Chase, Microsoft, Amazon, Liberty Mutual Insurance, Cartier and more) to tech startups. 

I authored 6 technical books, 3 patents, 40+ articles and whitepapers, developed a cybersecurity course for Bellevue University. I developed security products used by 100 companies to protect their Skype for Business Server infrastructure.  
Since 2016, I worked as CTO at several blockchain startups from launching an ICO to developing a decentralized identity, launching a stablecoin and vesting contracts. I consulted for Cartier (Geneva) on using blockchain for product authenticity and supply chain using the Aura blockchain. 

As an Executive Director at JP Morgan Chase, I reviewed the security compliance of Onyx's cloud infrastructure (AWS). I’ve built up the smart contract security review process and audited smart contracts developed by Onyx. 

I was Director of Blockchain Security and Research at Circle. I later joined Coinbase as Head of Security where I ran a team of 30. I was responsible for Coinbase’s blockchain infrastructure and Base chain security.
