Decentralized Perpetual Exchange Review of HMXv2
HMX is a next-generation perpetual DEX protocol offering multi-asset collateral support, cross-margin flexibility, and advanced trade safety mechanisms. Its design aims to enhance trading performance while protecting liquidity providers through virtual price impact controls and configurable funding fee systems.
To assess the protocol’s robustness, HMX engaged Cantina for a security audits review of its second-generation smart contracts. The audit focused on equity logic, reserve accounting, liquidation edge cases, and incentive systems—helping ensure the system can scale securely across diverse markets.
Cantina also supports protocols like HMX through layered defenses such as bug bounty programs, crowdsourced security competitions, and multisig security to harden infrastructure over time.
