Validator Incentive Security Review of Infrared
Infrared is a governance and staking coordination layer for Berachain that manages liquid staking assets, vote-escrowed rewards, and bribe emissions. Its design enables RED token-based incentives and validator-level reward flows, powered by vote cutting boards, epoch accounting, and multi-reward vaults.
To evaluate the safety of this architecture, Infrared engaged Spearbit through Cantina for a detailed security audits review. The assessment focused on vault harvesting logic, reward distribution safety, access control roles, and recovery mechanisms for staked assets and protocol fees.
Cantina also offers long-term protection through services such as bug bounty programs, crowdsourced security competitions, and multisig security, supporting resilient validator and governance systems across evolving blockchain networks.
