After four incredible years, today we’re sharing an important moment in Cantina’s journey: our co-founder and former CTO, Alex Beregszazi, is transitioning out of his role and into his next chapter.
This is both a reflective moment and a celebratory one. Cantina would not be what it is today without Alex’s leadership, vision, and commitment to raising the standard of security across Web3.
Building the Foundation of Cantina
From day one, Alex played a defining role in shaping both our product direction and our culture.
What started as a small idea shared by a handful of builders has grown into a full ecosystem of security solutions used by the top organizations in the world.
Under his technical leadership, Cantina shipped a suite of products that have meaningfully pushed the industry forward.
Equally meaningful was his role in building the product organization from scratch. He recruited, mentored, and shaped a team that now operates with the technical rigor, creativity, and speed that define Cantina.
Looking Ahead
Alex will be taking a well-deserved break before exploring his next ideas (and knowing him, there are many). We’re excited to see what he creates next, and are grateful that he’ll always be part of our story.
At the same time, Cantina is entering one of the most exciting phases in our history. With Harikrishnan Mulackal and Mike Leffer leading the next chapter, our mission has never been clearer: deliver the most advanced, scalable, and institution-ready security infrastructure for the digital asset economy.
The mission is in strong hands, and the momentum is only accelerating.
