Strengthening the Marketplace for Economic Security

Cantina is proud to announce the launch of the Symbiotic Bug Bounty program.

Symbiotic is a shared security protocol designed to create a marketplace for trust. It enables networks to access security from asset holders, creating an ecosystem where stake can be utilized across multiple networks.

For a system this fundamental to function, its security guarantees must be absolute.

Why We Are Partnering

As shared security scales, it becomes a "hyper-structure" that other applications rely upon. Errors here cascade. By launching this program with a $500,000 top tier, Symbiotic is acknowledging that internal testing and point-in-time audits are necessary but insufficient.

They are opening their doors to the Cantina network, and the broader research community, to stress-test their assumptions in real time.

The Scope

The program focuses on the core protocol and onchain surfaces. The goal is to identify vulnerabilities before they can impact the economic safety of the networks building on top of Symbiotic.

We have worked to ensure the program rules are explicit.

  • Rewards: Scaled by severity based on our classification framework.
  • Triage: Managed professionally to ensure rapid feedback.
  • Transparency: A known scope with clear exclusions.

Get Started

The program is open now. We invite all researchers to review the documentation and begin their assessment. Start the hunt here.
